ഈ വഴിയമ്പലത്തിനകത്തെന്തെല്ലാം?
ഹേ! വഴിയാത്രികാ കാണ്മൂ തമാശകള്‍
ആടുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ പാടുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
പാട്ടിനു താളമടിക്കുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
ഓടുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ ചാടുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
ചാട്ടത്തിന്‍ വീഴ്ചയില്‍ തളരുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
തല്ലുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ കൊല്ലുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
കൊലയുടെ ആര്‍ത്തിയാല്‍ അലറുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
താങ്ങുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ തലോടുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
തലോടലിന്‍ മയക്കത്തില്‍ വീഴുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
ചിരിക്കുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ കരയുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
കണ്ണിരിന്‍ കയങ്ങളില്‍ മുങ്ങുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
വരുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ പോകുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
പോകാനായ്‌ ഭാണ്ഡം മുറുക്കുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
വെല്ലുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ മിന്നുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
മായയാം സമയത്തില്‍ അലിയുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
പൂക്കുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍ പുലരുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
പുലര്‍ക്കാല നേരത്തേ പോഴിയുന്നിതു ചിലര്‍
ഈ വഴിയമ്പലം ക്ഷണികമാത്രമെന്നത്‌
ഹേ! വഴിയാത്രികാ അറിഞ്ഞാലും നീ.

Kerala School Kalotsavam 2012

I am going to be busy with the duties in the kerala school kalotsavam which is going to be held at Thrissur. Kalotsavams always attracted me for its colours and enthusiasm of the participants and teachers. It always motivated me to prepare myself and my students for the competitions.

Now I am very sad to realise that most of the students and teachers are away from it. It fails to attract the audience.

I think art and art forms are the reflection of the mind of the then society. Now the society wants different or it behaves indifferently.

Whatever it is, we need to bring the warmth and freshness of Kalotsavam by taking our students back in the Kalotsavam.

I hope the coming Kalotsavam would be a great success.
